Preschool Ice Cream Social

Maris's school had an ice cream social to celebrate the end of the school year.  This was a great way to get some pictures with friends and teachers!  We also go to enjoy ice cream with her little classmates on hot and humid day.

Maris with her BFF, Olivia
Paige got to come too!

Super 4 Year Olds

Time again for the playgroup birthday party!  It's getting hard to take the bigger kids plus all their parents and little brothers and sisters to a location for a birthday.  This year one of the families offered to host everyone.  Unfortunately, only 5 of the 8 kids could come.  Hopefully next year we can get more of them together.  This year's theme was superheros!

Superhero crafts

Superhero capes (sewn by yours truly) and masks

Superhero poses

Superhero cake (by Johnny, one of my faves yet!)

Happy 4th Birthday to our Heroes!!

Bubbles for Ainsley and Evelyn

In May, my friends lost their daughter.  She was almost 17 months old.  Her twin sister passed away on the day they were born in 2010.  A couple of girls from a moms group I belong to started a Facebook Page called Bubbles for Ainsley and Evelyn.  Contributors were encouraged to take their families outside and blow bubbles up to Heaven for the little girls lost too soon.

You can still add your own photos if you find yourself blowing bubbles with your kids and think of Ainsley and Evelyn.  Bubbles for Ainsley and Evelyn

Happy birthday, Maris!

Maris shared her birthday with Mother's Day this year.  So, we were busy!  We celebrated with just the four of us in the morning.

This is a good sign!
Happy Mother's Day!

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the Fancy Nancy birthday party.
Maris was a lucky girl.  Lots of gifts.
Paige got a little bored with the gift opening.  She took a minute to call some friends.
Aunt Vicki and Uncle Dan came through with great cowgirl hat!
Grandma and Grandpa had the horse covered.
Giddy up, Cowgirl!

And of course, her birthday Mickey picture.

Happy birthday, Maris!
