We get the William Wegman Puppies calendar each year. When the year is over we keep them around for Maris to look at. She asked for one yesterday and I turned around a few moments later to see she had laid it out for Erie to look at.

We have been thoroughly enjoying the Olympics at our house. Mostly *I* watch after Maris goes to bed, while Johnny falls asleep on the floor. Because I was tired, I DVRed the last hour or so of Tuesday's coverage and watched it with Maris on Wednesday morning. She was quite enthralled with the figure skaters. I'm sorry to post more than one picture for today, but it's really quite funny and you don't get the true idea of what she did without all the shots. She did this on her own without any prompting from Johnny or me.

"What? The figure skating girls are on? I think I shall join in."







We should probably be signing her up for skating lessons in the morning.

Johnny and I tend to snap our fingers when we dance or when there is music on. Maris picked up on this recently and has been trying to mimic. She ends up looking like she is using invisible castanets.
