P365: Day 35

February 4, 2010

I drive a Nissan. In general, I love the car. Lots of weird things happen to it though. Most recently, whenever it is really cold (in the teens or lower) the driver's door won't open from the outside. We took it to have it checked out and they told us what they thought (they didn't even open the panel to be sure) the problem was and the least amount it would cost to fix it. $193. Obviously we didn't pay that. We came home and looked the part up on a website that sells Nissan parts. $2.03. TWO DOLLARS and THREE CENTS. I have a few connections in the car industry so we're definitely going a different route then the Nissan dealership.

In the meantime, Johnny's rigged up a nice little contraption to open the door from the backseat so I don't have to run back and forth after putting M in the carseat:

P365: Day 34

February 3, 2010

Peek-a-boo!

We couldn't be more excited to have Uncle Dan home. Maris was a little timid at first but was soon demanding politely asking Daniel to sit with her or follow her wherever she went.

(My mom likes to protect her furniture from shedding dogs. That's why there's a sheet on the chair.)
(He's not sitting on her.)
(We were drinking red wine out of white wine glasses. So what?)

P365: Day 33

February 2, 2010

Today maybe the greatest day of 2010. I hope we can top it somehow, but for now it's the best!

My brother is home for the first time since August.

LOST premiered.

P365: Day 32

February 1, 2009

Maris loves all things music. Occasionally, Johnny will pull out the guitar and sing songs with her or let her play. She was strumming away here.
